YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

KRFC is focusing on  empowering the youth in agro-food industry in which as as a result in more innovative ways of producing food. Their training has to be theoretical and practical in a modern farming system and entrepreneurship skills. An acceptance of new technologies including precision farming and applications of mobile phones would improve the productivity and efficiency associated with agriculture. Further, networking through cooperatives and mentorship programs encourages collaboration and sharing of knowledge among the young farmers. However, the advocacy of supportive policies that involve the voice of youth in agriculture discussions further empowers them in the sector. By promoting sustainable practices and resilience strategies, we will be paving the way for the next generation to have a more sustainable and food-secure future.
